Welcome - The Meth Sample Survey Process

Michael Leavitt & Co Inspections, Inc. welcomes you to the 3 Point Lending Services portal of our www.TheMethInspector.com website. We are glad you are accepting the assignment to perform a Meth Sample Survey Screen.

Are you both excited and ready to start? The training is easy. The swipe sampling process is straight forward. The paperwork is limited. The chain of custody steps are easy to follow. So really, there are no reasons to be fearful of the process. Just follow the steps laid out for you and do the very best job you can. We look forward to your success in taking meth swipe samples.

Cleanliness

A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, CLEAN... One of the hardest things many tradesmen and construction professionals have to learn is the importance of cleanliness when it comes to taking meth samples. Cleaning and washing your hands is key to obtaining a good meth sample. Before starting the process, ask yourself if there is any possibility of prior contamination from another jobsite, your vehicle, or the fast food restaurant bathroom you just visited before arriving on site to take the sample. Is there anywhere you could have picked up any meth contamination on your hands?

Chain of Custody

Chain of custody, chain of custody, and chain of custody, next to cleanliness, this is the most important aspect of the Meth Sample Survey Screen. If you have a sample that could have been contaminated in the process due to a break in the chain of custody, then the results are suspect. We will repeat this over and over through the training, all the time flashing back to the O.J. Simpson trial where the lawyers scoured the video footage and photos looking for errors in the sampling process and the method of sample transport to the lab.
